Jennifer’s love of yoga began when she was introduced to her teacher Gopal in Florida in 1996. In 1998, under the guidance of her teacher Gopal, she and a colleague designed a yoga curriculum for children, ages 3 to 11, at a South Florida Montessori school. After Jennifer and her husband moved back to New Jersey in 1999 she continued teaching yoga in the school setting and completed her Master’s degree in Integral Education. Her thesis was on yoga in the Montessori classroom. In 2001, she left her teaching job when she got pregnant with her first child. In the meantime she studied with a variety of different yoga teachers. In 2007, Jennifer completed her yoga certification with Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny at Yogaphoria in New Hope, Pennsylvania. In 2010, while pregnant with her third child she completed her Pre natal certification with Sue Elkind.
She continues to study and practice yoga philosophy and asana daily on and off the mat.
Jennifer teaches yoga to all levels including couples, seniors, sports teams, children, and pre natal mamas. Her students will leave her class with a positive attitude and an in depth knowledge of mind and body. Her classes focus on alignment, heart felt themes, breathing techniques, and meditation.
